College of Public Health
The University of Oklahoma – Health Sciences Center is the branch of the University of Oklahoma devoted to all medical and healthcare studies. This branch can trace its roots back to several schools that existed in the area in earlier years. The University of Oklahoma has its own medical school, which it moved to Oklahoma City, and a nursing school opened nearby a few years later.
